TypeFlow Free · Version 1.0.0
Your words stay on your device.
TypeFlow turns examples into reusable text and fill-in forms. This policy explains the information it handles to do that.
Effective 6 October 2026. Published by WD DIGI. Contact: support@wddigi.com.
Information stored locally
Your templates, field definitions, examples, categories, favorites, local usage counts, settings and imported revision history are stored in your Chrome profile, using extension storage and IndexedDB. An import also saves a local recovery copy of the previous library. Template content can contain personal information or communications that you choose to save.
Information used while you write
When you open the page palette, TypeFlow reads the focused, supported text field and its selection to prepare a safe insertion. On sites you explicitly enable, it checks the text immediately before the cursor for a saved shortcut when you press Space. The current page address is checked to avoid inserting into a different page after navigation. These editor values and addresses are held in memory only; they are not saved as browsing history.
Values entered into a fill-in form are kept in memory for that preview and are not added to your saved template. TypeFlow does not read password fields and excludes recognized payment and one-time-code fields. It does not monitor other page text.
Permissions and your control
- Storage: saves your library and preferences on this device.
- Active tab and scripting: open the template palette on the page you invoke it on.
- Clipboard write: copies the result when you click Copy. TypeFlow does not read your clipboard.
- Optional site access: enables shortcut previews on a specific site you choose. Remove these permissions in TypeFlow Settings or Chrome's extension settings.
No transmission, accounts or advertising
This Free release has no server, analytics, tracking pixels, advertising, AI service, account, payment flow or cloud synchronization. It sends no template content, form values, browsing information or usage statistics to the developer or a third party. All executable extension code is bundled in the installation package.
Copying places text on your system clipboard. Inserting places it in the page you selected, where that website can access it under its own privacy policy. TypeFlow does not submit or send the page's form. Exporting writes a JSON file to the location you choose. If you share that file or clipboard text, the recipient receives its contents.
Retention, deletion and backups
Data remains in your Chrome profile until you delete it or remove the extension. Deleting a template removes its associated revision history. A pre-import recovery copy can retain previously saved templates until the next import or extension removal. Removing the extension deletes its local extension data. Exported files remain wherever you saved them and must be deleted separately.
Local data and exported JSON files are not encrypted by TypeFlow. Use a protected device and Chrome profile, keep backups private, and do not use TypeFlow as a password or payment-information vault. Uninstalling or losing the profile can permanently remove your library if you have no exported backup.
Limited use
TypeFlow uses information accessed through Chrome APIs only to provide its disclosed template and text-insertion features. This use complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. TypeFlow does not sell data, use it for advertising or credit decisions, or give the developer access to your locally saved writing.
Website and support
This policy describes the extension. If you visit its documentation website, Cloudflare, our hosting and security provider, may process connection information such as your IP address, requested URL, access time and browser details to deliver and protect the page. The documentation contains no analytics scripts or tracking cookies. If you contact support, WD DIGI receives the sender address, message and attachments you voluntarily include. Cloudflare Email Routing and the destination inbox may handle messages, and replies may use Resend. Support correspondence is kept as needed to resolve requests or meet legal obligations; provider log retention is governed by the providers. Do not include private templates unless needed for your request.
For questions or deletion requests concerning support correspondence, email support@wddigi.com. The developer cannot remotely access or delete your local extension library.
Changes
Future releases that change data handling will update this policy and provide any required notice or consent. This policy applies to the Free 1.0.0 package.
Future Lynk.id and Gumroad activation
Free 1.0.0 has no payment network access. Once configured, paid activation will send license keys, installation identifiers, app version and activation credentials to the TypeFlow WDDIGI service. Gumroad or Lynk.id handles payment; templates and editor text are not sent. The public Lynk claim form processes receipt REF ID and checkout email only when enabled, storing keyed email fingerprints, hashed references and licensing/security records on the server. Codes are not put in URLs or analytics. Contact support@wddigi.com for access, correction or deletion requests; some purchase/security records may need to be retained to operate licenses, handle refunds or meet obligations.
