Know where it works
A clear editor scope.
Copying works wherever you can paste text. Direct insertion supports standard top-level text inputs and text areas.
| Editor or page | Use in Free 1.0.0 |
|---|---|
| Standard text input / textarea | Preview, insert and guarded Undo |
| Site you explicitly enable | Shortcut + Space opens a preview in supported fields |
| Gmail composer / rich text editors | Copy from TypeFlow, paste manually |
| Iframe / embedded editor / page Shadow DOM input | Copy and paste manually |
| PDF, Chrome settings, Chrome Web Store | Copy from the library; page injection is restricted |
| Incognito | Not supported for page insertion |
| Password, recognized payment/OTP, readonly fields | Insertion refused |
| Active IME composition or a changed editor | Insertion refused; finish composing or reopen the preview |
| Multiline template in a single-line input | Insertion refused before changing text; use a text area |
Some sites manage their own editors
A website can replace an input, change its value or intercept typing. If TypeFlow's captured target is no longer valid, it asks you to copy instead of overwriting newer text. Report reproducible issues using a synthetic example at support@wddigi.com.
